K-465 S/PDIF / Digital Audio Transcoder

The K-465 is a high performance bidirectional AES/EBU - S/PDIF Digital Audio Transcoder. In one direction it converts a professional AES/EBU 110W balanced electrical signal to a Toslink® S/PDIF optical signal. In the other direction it converts a Toslink® S/PDIF optical signal to a professional AES/EBU 110W balanced electrical signal. All the electrical inputs and outputs are transformer coupled and the unit is capable of working with digital audio signals up to 96 KHz. The machine is built for professional use with a built-in equalizing function, and it works well with both 110W (professional standard) and Ω (consumer standard).
It converts the formats without changing the system or bit rates. The machine can operate in both directions simultaneously. The K-465 is fed from a 12V DC source, perfect for field operation. A power supply is provided with each unit. The K-465 is part of the Kramer TOOLS family of compact, high quality, and cost-effective solutions for a variety of applications.
